Qualifications

I am a highly experienced and qualified tutor. I have tutored children, teenagers, young adults and middle-aged business men. Furthermore, I have over thirty years tutoring experience. I began tutoring English and political science while an undergraduate student at California State University, Northridge. After graduating, I tutored privately. This year I tutored three junior high school students in English. In summary, I possess the necessary credentials, certificates, education and experience to tutor you or your child. As a result of my extensive educational training and experience, I know how to motivate students to learn and complete academic assignments, convey material in an interesting and comprehensible manner, check for understanding, and help students fulfill high expectations.

I have many special academic skills. I speak Spanish passably well. I type approximately sixty words per mnutes, because I worked as a typist for ten years. I am certified to be an on-line instructor; so, I would be comfortable and competent to teach via email. Furthermore, I have over fifteen years experience using the computer and internet. I should also mention that I am a certified Hypnotherapist; so, if you are interested I could incorporate hypnotherapy with therapy. Hypnotherapy can used to relieve test anxiety. In conclusion, I possess a wealth of personal, professional and academic skills to assist you achieve your personal and professional goals.
