Qualifications

Since receiving my Master of Education from Harvard University in 2003, I have been working with college students as advisor, supervisor, and educator. My areas of specialty include International Education and Higher Education Administration and I am fortunate to work with students directly every day. My experience also includes substitute teaching in a public middle school and high school, conducting college preparatory workshops for summer writing programs grades 10-11, and religious school substitute teaching for grades 4-10.

Comments

I have a strong liberal arts background, which is excellent for writing, reading, and speaking affectively. I would love to work with students on those particular areas, as well as History, Global Studies, and English. In addition, my knowledge of the higher education system puts me in a unique position to assist students in writing powerful college entrance essays and completing college applications affectively.

I meet with students at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Public Library in downtown San José weekday evenings.
