Qualifications

I have eleven years of teaching experience in ESL at the university, elementary and adult level.

I have tutored students in all aspects of ESL and English, especially writing, reading and essay test-taking. I am also experienced in teaching computer technology to students, especially Mac, Internet and online learning skills.

Comments

I teach students more effective learning strategies, and help them to use their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses, to set realistic goals and to come up with an individualized plan to achieve those goals. I provide feedback to students (and parents) about students' progress. While I cannot guarantee that students will receive a particular grade or test score, or be admitted to a particular college, the students I have tutored have always been satisfied with their improvement.

I prefer to teach in my home, but I will consider teaching nearby. I am also willing to tutor in writing via e-mail. Please contact me for more information.
