A lot of teachers will tell you once you've identified your unique learning style learning will be easy. This is simply not the case. Each student I see is given the opportunity to solve problems using a variety of approaches in order to master concepts and feel more comfortable in all learning scenarios they will meet throughout their lifetime. My emphasis is thus on logic skills and basic approaches to problem solving rather than finding "gimmicks" to resolve individual problems. This does include memorization of the basics, and utilization of resource materials. I have found this particularly useful in my work with math students (elementary - advanced algebra) as well as my other areas of interest- study skills, test preparation, reading/writing and of course where most of my professional training lies- the sciences. ***Homeschool parents ask about assistance id designing coursework***

"Questioning mechanics are sound and lead students through the process not just to the answer."
"Thank you for everything...you were able to teach (our son) Algebra II when no one else could."
"Holly has a wonderful personality and is easy to talk to. She was able to answer all questions and had an excellent knowledge of all my material. I would highly recommend Holly."
