She is currently in the 2nd grade and will be going to the 3rd. Her teacher has recommended summer school for her, ONLY for her reading. Her current DRA level is between 18-22 I belive. IOther than reading she is a straight A student.
She will be arriving in Georgia mid June and is scheduled to be there until mid August. I am looking for someone who is willing to tutor this smart, sweet little girl at least once a week and that will accept payment via USPS (snail mail) as I reside in Texas and will be paying for the tutoring. This person will need to communicate directly with me as well as with her grandparents over the summer.

I am looking for tutoring on the reading comprehension section of the DAT. If you've taken the DAT, that would be best because I need strategies specific to me and the reading comprehension that they put on the DATs (very different style from MCAT) that will help me achieve above an 18. I know the main ones (Mapping, Search and Destroy), however, my problems with reading comp make these two techniques inadequate. I am a really slow reader, and I have a lot of trouble absorbing material/sentences the first time reading them. Reading comprehension in my main concern; I could use some help the PAT section, but I am generally fine with Natural Sciences and Qualitative Reasoning.
Please let me know if you can help me with Reading Comp. I've been practicing for a month and I have a lot of problems, so please let me know if you can actually, really help me. Thank you!
