I am a PhD candidate in art history at the University of Florida. I have just returned to the U.S. after 15 months of fieldwork in Mozambique. My research deals with Mozambican artists who use recycled materials in the creation of their art. I received funding for my dissertation research from a Fulbright-Hays DDRA grant. I have had several years experience teaching art history in a university setting, at large public universities (University of Florida and Buffalo State College), small liberal
