I started tutoring/volunteering when I was in high school. I felt that it was my life path to continue to work with children so I went to Colorado State University and I studied Human Development and Family studies. I continued on my career path to the University of Colorado at Denver and studied Elementary Education Curriculum and Pedagogy. After getting my teaching license I started teaching first grade in Aurora Public Schools. I taught first grade for 3 years then moved up to third grade. I
