I am a student studying Photography in Rochester, New York; proclaimed the imaging capital of the world, Rochester is home to Kodak, Xerox, and the Visual Studies Workshop. As a student at RIT, the importance of a strong technical background in photography has been stressed to me, while also being allowed to develop as an artist using technical proficiency.
