Spanish Proficiency:I am a non-native speaker who has spoken Spanish for 10 years. I lived for 6 years in Bogota, Colombia after studying college-level Spanish for two years in the U.S. Learning to speak Spanish in Colombia means I have a very neutral accent that is easy to understand by non-native speakers. The Colombian accent is known to be neutral relative to the accents of others regions. My experience in Colombia also means that I speak Spanish from experience, not just from textbooks
