I worked in the school system for 8 years as a paraprofessional. I worked with students learning math, reading and writing. I also taught phonics. I left the school in 2010 for a full-time job elsewhere, but miss the teaching environment. I believe that learning should be a fun experience. If it’s not fun for the teacher it’s not fun for the student. Every person learns in a different way, and I am willing to challenge myself and the student to find the way that works for both of us.
